INTRODUCTION

 

Hospital Seremban is the state and referral hospital for the state of Negeri Sembilan. It is situated 80 kilometre south of Kuala Lumpur. The Hospital's Foundation Stone was laid by the Y.B. Encik Bahaman bin Samsudin, Minister of Health on the 5th. November 1966. It was officially declared open by DYMM Tuanku Ja'afar Al-Haj AL-Marhum Tuanku Abdul Rahman on the 29th. of March 1969. A 8 storey high building and is situated at Bukit Rasah, Seremban and occupying an area of 212 acres of land. It has 800 beds and 20 clinical specialities and various supportive services.

Hospital Seremban is a Center of Excellence and is an institution for training of medical students, medical assistants and student nurses. It has been recognised by the Ministry of Health as the First Responder for any emergencies arising at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) requiring medical assistance. The Hospital is 43 kilometre south of the Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
